Hi!! Took a month off here since I started working, but I am back! 😁

Here are some of the food we had from Modern Shang and some of my thoughts about it!

First off, the place was really nice, well lit and the staff were super friendly.

Crispy Noodles: Definitely something new, if you're someone who likes to have different textures in your food then this is worth something to try out. Kind of salty for me but it is really tasty, sweet and salty. 7.5/10

Mojito: Pretty good, definitely can feel it kicking even after just a glass. 8/10

Crispy dumpling: SOOO GOOD, there was enough meat inside and it was really flavorful, the sweet and chilli sauce really complements it. 9/10

Xiaolingbao: Can never go wrong with this one, the soup was really nice and flavorful, the meat was well seasoned as well! 10/10

Soup no.5: This one was something really new to me, I've always wanted to try it out since I saw blondieinchina on tiktok try it out. This one is the private part of the cow, it was surprising meaty and tasty, the soup was also very flavorful, and a bit too salty for me. Overall, I think it's something worth trying out, especially if you are feeling a bit adventurous. 8/10

Yangchow friend rice: This one was okay, a bit bland but I think that's what makes it work well with the other dishes. 6/10

Sauteed string beans with minced pork: I love this one! It was really tender and garlic-y, and the texture of the string beans was so good too, it definitely made it more fun to eat! 10/10
