Hello make up lovers! Today, we are going to talk about most common make up bases which are the BB cream and foundation. Let’s talk how they differ from each other base on their texture, coverage, and their different uses.

🤍Let’s start first with the Foundation. It is typically use only when you need extra power to cover your flaws and blemishes.

〰️ It has thicker texture and not light weight on the skin

〰️ It can perfectly cover flaws and skin blemishes

〰️ Because the texture of the foundation is thick, it is not recommended to use daily, only use it when you have special events or when you can use heavy make up

🤍While for the BB Cream, it is a short term for ‘Blemish Balm’ cream which has a combination of products such as moisturizer, primer, SPF and concealer all in one.

〰️ It has a lighter and thinner texture

〰️ Lightweight on the skin

〰️ Has small to medium amount of coverage on the skin

〰️ Recommended to use daily rather than foundation

In conclusion, BB creams are more of a skin friendly type of make up base because it is also consist of skin care. While the use of foundation are only for times when you need heavy coverage for your skin. 😉

Before, I usually wear foundation for my everyday look but it feels heavy on my face that’s why I switched to BB and CC Cream to substitute for my base look. You can use this as foundation since it can give you light coverage on your face.

In today’s content, I will share to you the difference of BB and CC Cream:

CC Cream from Cathy Doll: This cream is a light weight on your skin. The texture is watery and I love it because it can easily blend to your skin plus this cream has a color corrector that can easily detect your skin tone. It also has a dewy finish look that will help your skin to look fresh and glowy skin. It also helps to whiten your skin in a natural way and helps to cover some of your blemishes. The packaging is travel friendly because it is tube type and you can easily squeeze the packaging and control the product.

BB Holic from iWhite Korea: Bb cream can use as your base since it acts like a foundation but in a light weight formula. It is not greasy and sticky which is good because it can’t irritate your skin plus it gives you moisturize skin. It can also cover some of your blemishes like medium to full coverage.

After applying your base makeup ready your cream blush and moisturizer.

Apply a small amount of moisturizer and cream blush on your hands.

Mix both products together and apply it on your cheeks.

Gently tap the products to make a coverage.💕💗

Note:

✅If you have very pale, fair skin, opt for light pinks for a pretty flush of color that won’t overpower your tone.

✅ If you have light-medium skin,

choose a peachy pink shade to give your skin a pretty glow.

✅ For golden or olive skin tones, the warm undertones to the skin can stand up to brighter, punchier pinks.

✅ Darker skin tones can go for brighter hues with warm undertones, like a bright apricot, to deliver an ethereal glow and truly radiant results.

I used to be scared with contouring since it usually looks muddy on my face but let me share some easy tips for you on how to naturally contour your face that’s perfect for beginners!

Step 1: Assess your face and check which areas you would want to add shadow or slim down.

Step 2: Draw lines above your cheekbones, forehead, and jawline. For the cheekbones, blend upward and not downward! For the forehead, blend towards your hairline and for the jawline, blend sideways and downwards to give that natural chiseled look!

Step 3: Draw 2 straight lines for your nose contour and gently blend with your fingers.

Hi Ladies and Lemon8! 👋 Opening of Coffee Shops here in the Philippines has been going crazy for quite some time now! I myself is also guilty of going to coffee shops near me and just spend my hours having a quality time with my friends accompanied ourselves with a good drink.

Today I want to share with you this newly opened Coffee Shop/Stall located at Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City. The Coffee Shop is called “PICKUP COFFEE.” 💚

What I like about this Coffee Place is that it offers alfresco dining that you can enjoy with your friends. The stall itself will catch your eye with its minimal yet bright look. Zen pastel-green color that is totally IG Worthy!

I also recommend this because their drinks are budget friendly and student friendly too! The prices are really affordable as it starts with 50 pesos only for a drink! I indulge myself with a matcha drink the first time I visit them! 😩💚

My OOTD matches the color of the place as well, I kick off a y21k-ish vibes as I wear a green printed camisole top, comfy black bottoms partnered with white rubber shoes and a beige bag.

This shop is really a must try! You won’t regret trying their drinks! ☕️

How to apply and remove contact lenses using a lense applicator and tweezers👁

Applying contact lenses could be hard and tricky but here’s how I apply my contact lenses using a contact lense tool. You can apply contact lenses using your finger but some find it unhygienic or sometimes difficult. I always use the applicator and tweezers especially when I have my nails done and it is hard to apply and remove lenses because of long nails. ✨

👀How to apply:

To start of grab your contact lenses, your mirror and you applicator, put the first lense first on the applicator make sure it’s on the right side and not inverted. Then open your eyes wide, use your fingers to lift your lashes if you need to. Apply the lense comfortably and properly, applying it for the first time will be tricky and uncomfy but you’ll get a hang of it the trick is to open your eyes wide and look straight to the mirror. Do the same to the other eye.

👀How to remove:

To remove, grab your contact lense tweezers and open your eyes wide. Use the tweezers to move your lense a bit and grab it slowly and with light hands. (control your hands). Do it on the other side as well and done!

The lenses that I used are from Dcart in the shade “Athena Blue”.👁
