OR maybe for those who are in a rush and could not just skip their contour. Indeed, I am the latter! 👀

Having said that, if you are wondering what this three fingers contour hack is. 💭 Here’s how to do it:

☁️ First, place the cream contour on your ring finger!

☁️ Second, put the cream blush on your middle finger.

☁️ And lastly, apply some cream highlighter on your index finger.

Once all three products are already placed on your fingers, gently slide all your three fingers on your cheek area placing the products altogether! 🤩 I just blended everything with a brush but you may opt to use your fingers. 🤚🏼

Step 1: Know your skin tone

Learning how to find the right colour of foundation shade starts with knowing what your skin tone is. Your skin tone refers to the natural colour of your complexion, which can be fair, light, medium or deep. If the tone of your skin varies across different areas of your face, focus on your jawline away from the apple of your cheek where there is often more of a natural flush.

Step 2: Identify your undertone

The right foundation shade should match your skin’s undertone. While your skin tone is how light or dark your skin is, the ‘undertone’ refers to the colours under the surface of your skin and can be warm, cool, or neutral. While your skin tone may change with the seasons, your undertone should remain consistent.

How to tell your undertone?

1.  Check the colour of your veins

Take a good look at the veins on your wrist under natural light for an easy way to determine your undertone. If your veins look green, it is likely you have warm undertones; if they are blue/purple, you have cool undertones. If they appear blue/green or match your skin colour, you most likely have neutral undertones.

2.  Do you burn or tan?

First things first, always wear sunscreen. Nevertheless, how your skin reacts to UV can also be a big indicator to your undertone. Think about when you hit the beach in summer. If you easily burn your skin likely has cool undertones; where those who tan without burning often have warm undertones.

3.  Can you wear silver or gold?

There are no rules when it comes to accessories, but one metal often looks the most flattering. Consider which best suits your skin tone. Those with cool undertones tend to suit silver jewellery, and warm tones often are most flattered by gold. If you suit both, your undertone is neutral.

Step 3: Test on bare skin

Next tip in learning how to pick the right foundation shade is testing on bare skin. Attempting to perfect your foundation colour match to your skin can be difficult when you are already wearing makeup, so testing foundation shades on a bare face is the key to accurate shade selection.

Step 4: Start with options

To find your perfect foundation shade match, start with a selection and narrow down your choices. Find three foundation shades that look like a good match and apply them in parallel lines on your jawline, extending the product from your cheek and onto your neck slightly. The perfect foundation shade is the one that blends seamlessly into your skin in both areas.

📝TAKING YOUR MEASUREMENTS

🔅 To get accurate measurements, it helps to have little to no clothing on. Strip down to your underwear if you’re able, or put on something light and form-fitting, such as a tank top and a pair of leggings

🔅 Look in a mirror while you take your measurements. This will help you to determine if you’re positioning the measuring tape properly.

🔅 Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, which is usually the area of your chest that’s level with your nipples.

🔅 Locate the smallest part of your waist and measure it. This is usually just below your ribs and about 2–3 in (5.1–7.6 cm) above your belly button.

🔅 Identify the widest part of your hips and measure them. This is usually at the level of your crotch.

DETERMINE BODY TYPE

🍐 PEAR SHAPED

This is also known as a triangle shape and it’s a very common body type.

If your hips are the largest of the 3 measurements, and your bust and waist are equal in size or if your bust is smaller than your waist, you’re a pear shape. ❤️

🔻INVERTED TRIANGLE

This is a common body type for athletic men and women, but some people may naturally have this body type. This shape is the opposite of the pear or triangle shape. In an inverted triangle, the chest and/or shoulders are wider than the waist and hips.💕

◼️ SQUARE SHAPED

This is a common shape for people who are athletic and for young girls. However, some people naturally have this shape. If there’s no more than a 2 in (5.1 cm) difference between your bust, waist, and hips, then you’re likely a square shape.😻

🍎APPLE SHAPED

Some people with apple-shaped bodies have slim hips and slender legs as well. If you’re a woman, you might also have a full bust. If your waist is 2 in (5.1 cm) larger than your hips and bust, you may be an apple shape.

This creates a noticeable curving silhouette going from the bust to the waist and hips. Hourglass shapes usually have bust and hip measurements that are about the same size, and their waist measurement is noticeably smaller than the bust and hip.✨

These tints are the first set of tints I’ve tried that didn’t settle into my deep lip lines. SO COOL! These are multipurpose as well so you can def apply these on your cheeks and eyelids as well 🥰

That’s not all! They’re long-wear, non-drying, smudge-proof, transfer-proof and has a precise doe-foot applicator. I’m sold!! 🌟

🌟 Tip: It’s best worn over a layer of clear lip balm for an added layer of moisture. I use the original Vaseline lip therapy.

I know that this is a bit pricey especially considering that it’s P1,300 PER tint. It’s a bit much but I swear to you it’s so worth it! You won’t reach for any other lip tint I assure you.

Hi, for today's content I will share with you the different uses of petroleum jelly. I used Apollo Petroleum Jelly, but you can also use a vaseline or any brand. 💗

1. Moisturize lips – petroleum jelly really helps to moisturize the lips. If you don't have lip balm, you can use petroleum jelly. It has effectively helped to dry and chapped lips. Just use it every day for the best results.

2. Grow Eyebrows – Before I started using this I had thin eyebrows. When I started using petroleum jelly, I noticed that it grew and thickened my eyebrows. Some of them say that it doesn't help to thicken the eyebrows, but it's effective for me. I just use this 3 to five times a week because sometimes I forget to apply. The result will take longer, but it's effective for me.

Brow Gel – Just get a little amount using an eyebrow brush and apply it to your brows. It can help to style your brows.

3. Long Eyelashes – I have thin and short eyelashes, but when I start using it helps my eyelashes to grow longer. I just use it a few times a week.

4. Eye Makeup Remover – this one is super amazing. It really helps to remove my eye makeup. If you want, you can also use it in your face makeup.

Get the right amount of petroleum jelly and gently rub it in your eyes. Once you're done, wipe it with a cotton pad. Then, you're done!!!

5. Long Lasting Perfume – used petroleum jelly as a base. It can help perfume to last longer.

6. Moisturize dry skin – if you have dry skin or cracked heels, use petroleum jelly as it gives moisture. Also, use this to prevent your skin from drying out.

That's some uses of petroleum jelly! Why not try it? Based on my experience, it is truly effective.
