Bonjour besties! I am back with another post to share with you the different shades of lipstick that I tried! + I will also be sharing how you can choose the right shade for you.

💌 How to know which shade is for you?

    • In natural light, examine your skin to determine your complexion: fair, light, medium, tanned, or deep. Pay special attention to the skin around your jawline.

    • Look for a shade that is one to two shades darker than your natural lip color. Apply the lipstick only to your lower lip to see how close the shade is to your natural color. Compare that to the color of your upper lip. If the shades are noticeably different, you should keep looking.

    • Choose whether you want your lips to appear smaller or larger. Dark shades will make your lips appear smaller, whereas lighter shades will add plumpness.

    • Determine your undertones and skin tone. Remember that while your undertone and complexion will help guide you, they aren’t the be-all and end-all of lipstick color selection. It is critical to try on various shades and, ultimately, choose what you believe looks best.

💗 Try light pink, coral, peach, nudes, or beige if you have fair or light skin. Try a soft mocha and nude if you have cool undertones. Warm undertones can be achieved by using pale pinks or a nude with a hint of peach.

🌹 Try rose, mauve, or berry shades if you have medium skin. Try pink or cranberry with cool undertones. Experiment with copper or bronze for warm undertones.

🧡 If you have tan skin, try to avoid browns and purples and go for colors with an orange undertone. Most other colors will look great. Try coral, or deep pink.

🍇 If you have a deep complexion, try browns or purples like walnut, caramel, plum, or wine. Cool undertones should look for ruby and wine-colored reds. Warm undertones, try copper or bronze

Now, I am going to share with you the different shades of lipsticks that I tried. To be honest I am not used to seeing myself wearing bright colored lippies but now I came out of my comfort zone and finally tried it!

Btw, the lipsticks that I tried are from Rom&nd! So lezgooo

    1. The first shade is called 04 Radwood. For my skintone it looks like a deep red and very perfect if you are going to celebrate your birthday! I mean c’mon it looks so good and makes my teeth whiter too.

    2. Second shade is called current jam. With my skintone, the current jam looks like a purple (ish) pink, it is very cute and did you know that you can use this as your blush as well? so cute right?!

    3. Coral Jublee, to be honest I am not really into orange shades of lipstick but this one looks so good on my skin, it instantly brightens up my look!

    4. Lastly, pomeloco! GO TO LIPPIE! I super love how this looks on me. I think I can use this for my everyday makeup look and also be very perfect for students like me.

    Xoxo,

    Veronique
