If you’re fond of scrolling and browsing through TikTok’s makeup contents, you’ve probably come across the famous makeup artist named Paul Unating. The makeup look is just ✨magical✨. There are no words I can describe it more further. It’s just amazing how a “dull” looking face can transform into something more youthful, fresh, and beautiful.
Many makeup content creators have already recreated this look and of course, I’d like to hop on the trend too!
Here’s a complete guide of my easy version and recreation of Paul Unating’s Iconic Fresh Makeup Look:
🎀 STEP 1: Wash and prime your face for a clean and smooth base. For my cleanser, I used the Heimish All Clean Green Foam Wash, and for my primer, I used the Ever Bilena Advance Mattifying Primer.
💗 STEP 2: Conceal the certain parts of your face that needs to be concealed. Important parts to conceal are the under eyes and inner corners of the nose. After applying, be sure to blend it well using a beauty blender or a blending brush. For my concealer, I used the Ever Bilena Advance Fearless Concealer in the shade Oriental.
🎀 STEP 3: Then, apply skin tint. I prefer using skin tint because it’s more lightweight but blurs the imperfections of my face at the same time. After applying, be sure to blend it well using a beauty blender or a blending brush. For my skin tint, I used the Vice Cosmetics Blurrfection Skin Tint in the shade Freshnezz from Vice Cosmetics.
💗 STEP 4: Make your brows fuller, thicker and arched in a natural-looking way. To shape your brows, use a brow shaper and brush your brow hair upwards and shape them to an “arch”. To add more volume, use a browcara that has the same shade as your brow hairs. For my brow shaper, I used the Vice Cosmetics Gandoll Flexi Brow Shaper in “Clear” and for my browcara, I used the ISEHAN Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow in the shade “Ash Gray”
🎀 STEP 5: For the eye makeup, I used 3 shades from the Ever Bilena Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette. For my (base) lids, I used the 3rd shade on the palette, 7th shade on my crease, and 11th shade on the outer corner of my eyes/deep crease. To add a touch of shimmer, I applied the Strobe Stick from Careline all over my lids, inner corners of my eyes and on my lower lash line.
💗 STEP 6: To make your eyes pop and to complete the eye makeup, apply wispy falsies after curling the eyelashes. I used the Vice Cosmetics The Day is Saved Falsies in “No Trouble Bubbles” (wispy lashes).
🎀 STEP 7: To achieve that natural-looking rosy cheeks, apply a pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. For my blush, I used the Blythe by Careline Powder Blush in the shade “Pink Velvet” from Careline.
💗 STEP 8: slightly contour the nose. I used the Nichido Duo Highlighter and Contour Stick.
🎀 Step 9: Achieve pretty gradient lips by using two shades of lippies: nude and dark pink/pink and then top it off with a little bit of lip gloss to add shine. For my lippies, I used the Vice Cosmetics Good Vibes Matte Lipstick in the shade “Hayabayabayu” and Blythe by Careline’s Lip Treat in the shade “Pudding”. For my gloss, I used the Ever Bilena Advance Vinyl Lip Gloss.
💗 Step 10: For the finishing touches, apply highlighter on the cheekbones, tip of nose, nose bridge, and cupid’s bow. For my highlighter, I used the Careline Strobe Stick.
