Whenever I feel like my skin looks and feels a bit more dull than usual, I apply this Tone Up Sun Cream from Fresh Skinlab and it instantly brightens and tones my skin! One of my good friends actually recommended this to me when we were walking around the mall. She endlessly raved about this product and insisted on me getting one for myself and it was one of the best decisions of my life. MAANGE Make-Up Sponge
Although I seldom use my fingers when I apply my base, it makes a huge difference when I use a sponge instead. This nude make up sponge is from a brand called MAANGE for only Php 35. It helps smoothen and melt the product into my skin seamlessly!
Dr. Sensitive ALL DAY NO SEBUM BLUR POWDER
It’s not an exaggeration when I say that this has been my 10th or more purchase of this product. For someone with oily to combination skin, I struggle with keeping my make-up in place all throughout the day. Not to mention, being in a humid country, my make-up easily melts and creases. But ever since I started using Dr. Sensitive All Day No Sebum Blur Powder, my make- up has definitely lasted longer despite wearing a mask the whole day. It does live up to its claims and mattifies my skin for only Php 250!
ROTO Color Eyeshadow Palette
Can you believe that this eyeshadow palette with ten (10) shades is only Php 180? And no, the quality is not similar to children’s makeup whatsoever! Since glittery and sparkly eye make up is back in trend thanks to the highly acclaimed HBO Series Euphoria, I was on a hunt for a good but affordable eyeshadow palette that would still have a good color pay-off! There are four (4) glittery shades and six (6) shimmery and buttery shades which you can definitely play around with. I can also use some of the shimmer shades as subtle to intense highlighters.
Focallure Ultrafine Eyeliner
In order for us to achieve the trendy “fox eye lewk”, we need the finest of the finest eyeliner to pull this off! I’ve had my fair share of trials and errors with a couple of brands but nothing has impressed me quite as much as Focallure’s Ultrafine Eyeliner did. Not only is it waterproof, has a fine tip, it is also, you guessed it – affordable for its quality at Php 136. I also opted for the dark brown shade for the natural effortless look.
Focallure Starlight Liquid Eyeshadow
Not only am I a Euphoria enthusiast, but also a hard core Kpop stan! I don’t just enjoy their music, but I also try my best to be updated with the hottest and latest fashion and makeup trends of my biases. One of these things would be applying glitter on the center of your bottom lashes. This is usually emphasized when an idol winks or blinks during a performance specially when the lights hit it just right! I’m able to achieve this look with Focallure’s Starlight Liquid Eyeshadow (Php 89). Don’t worry, it doesn’t feel like you have anything on when it’s applied. It dries and stays in place!
I know I can still survive without the products I mentioned, but when I know I have these items in my make-up back, my confidence level will go through the roof! And I also find comfort in knowing that I won’t break the bank when it’s time to purchase them again.
